Chart notes
CHEEKIEST off slow to begin, trailed along the inside, eased out to the three path around the far turn, steered out further in the lane, rallied between runners midstretch, then surged late and overtook AMELIA BLEU approaching the wire. AMELIA BLEU broke inward, stalked the speed from the rail position, followed behind the pacesetter through the far turn, tipped out at the top of the lane and drew alongside the leader, surged clear midstretch but got run down by the winner late. IN YOUR LIFE tracked two wide between rivals, pushed on through the far turn still in the two path, had to pause in traffic entering the stretch, angled to the inside then steered back out at the eight pole, rallied and got up for third. AUDITORY brushed and crowded leaving the gate, unhurried two then three wide around the clubhouse turn, raced three wide leaving the backstretch, got fanned five wide into the stretch, rallied and missed third. LEOPARDESS (GB) settled inside then shifted over to the two path on the clubhouse turn, was a bit rank early on between rivals, advanced three then four wide on the second bend, finished well in the lane but was outclosed in the late stages. TAKE CARAMIE brushed with inner rival then had to take up in the beginning, tracked three deep, drew closer outside the top pair in the middle stages before taking a stalking position once more, navigated the far turn in the three path, got crowded between foes midstretch and was not persevered with. TALENT FOR GOLD sprinted clear from outside and crossed over, took pressure up the backstretch, cleared approaching the quarter pole, challenged in upper stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. PUTT FOR DOUGH broke inward, was closest in pursuit from the two path around the first turn, moved up to force the issue on the backstretch, could not keep up with the leader outside the quarter pole, chased two wide into the lane and weakened. SMOOTH AS BUTTER reserved in the opening stages along the inside, saved ground through the far turn, moved out in the lane and failed to make an impact.
