SAREEHA (IRE) antsy in the gate, steadied behind a rival early, settled three then two wide on the first turn, angled out at the quarter pole, chased four wide turning for home, rallied to the front approaching the sixteenth pole, cleared in the final sixty yards and held over the late charge from the runner-up. STRUTTING (GB) unhurried in the beginning and moved inside trailing the field, went outside a rival on the backstretch, chased between foes on the far, tipped three to four wide late on that bend, moved out further in the drive, rallied and latched onto the winner late but ran out of ground. WORD PLAY (GB) broke a bit slow to be last away, reserved on the inside, found traffic on the far turn and shifted over to the two path, angled out in upper stretch, moved back inward in deep stretch while rallying and finished a game third. WRIGLEYVILLE antsy in the gate, was rank early while pressing the pace from outside, stalked the new leader outside a rival up the backstretch, launched a bid from outside approaching the quarter pole, cleared at the top of the lane, challenged in midstretch, lost command at the sixteenth pole and weakened late. ALLURING sat off the pace on the inside, tipped two wide entering the lane, altered out from behind rivals in upper stretch, summoned a mild rally and improve position. MS BRIGHTSIDE (IRE) traveled towards the rear in the early going and was taken to the inside, trailed into the far turn, had to pause behind a rival near the quarter pole, cut the corner into the lane, moved out in the drive and kept trying through the final furlong. FAITH UNDERSTOOD stalked in the two path between rivals, ridden along still in the two path on the far turn, altered out a bit at the eighth pole and weakened. CONTROL FUNCTION pulled along the inside then took hold when running behind the leader on the first turn, continued to tug and was allowed to go between rivals to take control early on the backstretch before clearing, was challenged from outside with a quarter mile remaining, lost command leaving the turn and gave way in the late stages. SPECIAL FLOWER had good early foot along the rail, lost command past the five-eighths pole and stalked up the backstretch, remained inside and saved ground to the stretch, then faded out of contention. EMPRESS ELLIE stalked three, four, then five deep on the clubhouse turn, chased outside a pair of rivals leaving the backstretch, stayed off the rail to the stretch and weakened down the lane. TAM'S LITTLE ANGEL reserved four then three wide early, chased three then four wide on the second turn, moved out in the lane and was never a factor.
