Chart notes
SUMMERSATTHESHORE vied along the rail, shook loose on the final turn then remained safe while kept to a drive. AMALFI LADY well placed behind the dueling pacesetters, bid at the quarter pole and made a gradual late gain. COVER THE SPREAD dueled outside winner for five furlongs and weakened. DOROTHY'S THE BOSS advanced inside on the final turn, was taken up at the quarter pole, angled wide and no threat. MO TOWN ANNIE broke awkwardly, was outrun then drifted out badly in the stretch. LOIS urged within range early inside then stopped abruptly.
