Chart notes
MAXIMUM CAPACITY sent leaving the start, saved ground into the first turn and set a contested pace into the backstretch run, was well handled while setting decent fractions nearing the half-mile pole, shook free into the second turn and led to the quarter marker, extended the lead into upper stretch, was kept to task under firm urging into the final sixteenth, felt late pressure from the oncoming runner-up and held in a drive at the finish. LIGHT THE BEAM allowed to settle while never far back, saved ground along the first turn and into the backstretch run, was well placed approaching the second turn and saved all of the ground nearing the quarter marker, tipped out a path into upper stretch and chased MAXIMUM CAPACITY heading to mid-stretch, finished well in the final sixteenth, pressured the winner but could not reel that one in and was a clear second. RUN BABA RUN settled just off of the early pace, was well positioned into the first turn, tracked the decent pace through the backstretch run, chased four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, lacked the needed response in the stretch drive, stayed on in the late going and was clear for third. KOBE W prominent away from the start, stalked the early pace between runners into the first turn, kept close attendance to the decent pace while between runners along the backstretch run, chased two to three wide and between foes into the second turn, lost ground into upper stretch and gave way in the late stages. SHAUN'S JAZZ broke alertly, vied for the early lead while widest into the first turn, prompted the decent pace outside of rivals into the backstretch run, chased three to four wide and between runners into the far turn, could not keep pace approaching the quarter pole and tired in the stretch drive.
