Chart notes
CHARTED MAP set a soft pace wind aided loose up top down the back straight, opened up comfortably on rivals through the turn and cruised home for a dominating frontrunning score at the finish line. YOU'RE SO LUCKY was pinched between horses at the start, stalked in the third tier between foes down the backstretch, started to offer a rally three wide with runners on either side midway around the bend, shifted out, in the hunt five wide at the top of the lane and finished up willingly to best the rest for the runners up share behind the overpowering winner. GEE POWER broke in at the start, settled in midfield three deep on the outside, took closer order four wide circling around the bend, angled out to the six path in range for a share turning for home, stayed on the incorrect lead to the wire and just held for the show money in a photo at the wire. DIVA'S GHOST travelled on the rail in the third grouping along the backside, made little headway through the turn, shifted outside off foes three wide at the quarter pole and finished up smartly to close in late almost getting up at the finish line for the third place share. BAPTIST BILLY stalked close to the back of the pack on the rail at the start, progressed smartly inside foes along the backside to sit just behind the leader at the half, backed away on the fence around the turn and while in the three path lacked a finishing kick in the stretch running. MIKEY BOY tracked the pacesetter outside along the backside, chased the frontrunning winner throughout the turn and wilted on the fence by the sixteenth pole. VERY VERVE VOODOO was off slow trailing down the backside, could not get into contention still at the rear around the turn and was not a factor in the stretch running. MAD CHATTER stalked near the rear ahead of only the slow starter, started to pick up horses mounting a rally four wide outside foes at the quarter pole, angled to the six path with run in upper stretch, took an awkward step, stumbled dislodging the rider and left via equine ambulance.
