JANSSEN broke in at the start bumping UNAFFECTED, raced just off the inside in closest aim of the leader, advanced to vie between foes with five and a half furlongs to run, had the inner most of that trio back away near the half mile pole and tucked inside, dueled through the turn with NEPTUNE BEACH and was set down taking command swinging two to three wide into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and held safe to prevail. TIZ THE PRINCE four wide through the first turn, chased four then three wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, went seven wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. LANDAUER chased along the inside until tipped out at the seven-sixteenths to be three then four wide when placed to urging three furlongs from home, went eight wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. NEPTUNE BEACH coaxed from the start, raced three wide through the first turn, chased three wide before advancing to vie briefly outside a pair before emerging in tandem with JANSSEN to duel tucked to the two path through the far turn, angled five wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. UNAFFECTED bobbled at the break and was bumped by JANSSEN, chased just off the inside coming under a ride from the three-eighths, swung four wide into upper stretch and tired. DREAM ALLIANCE coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand along the inside, got joined by a pair of rivals with five and a half furlongs to run and vied inside them until shaken off near the half mile pole, chased along the inside through the turn and cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, then tired in the drive. DR HIGH got away last without incident, chased along the inside through the first turn and then two to three paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked inside half a mile from home and got ridden along at the seven-sixteenths continuing along the rail, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and trailed throughout.
