Chart notes
MORNING ADDICTION reluctant to load, broke in and made light contact with CRYSTAL PROOF, dueled that rival to the turn, was always traveling well, was not set down until the top of the stretch then responded well to steady handling and held all at bay to the wire. HONORABLE GAL settled four wide and well off the pace duel, was set down with three furlongs to run and responded with a four wide rally into the stretch, finished strong under steady handling but came up short. TAMANTARI was last away and lagged behind the field down the backstretch, started to run on from the three furlong marker, found best stride in deep stretch but was to late. A ROUSING BABE tracked in the three path behind the dueling leaders, was going well passing the three furlong pole, cruised up to join the dueling leaders three wide near the quarter pole, loomed large at the top of the stretch but had trouble changing leads and faltered in the last furlong. CRYSTAL PROOF stumbled slightly at the start then was bumped by MORNING ADDICTION, recovered quickly and dueled inside of that foe to the turn, held on well as that rival amped up the pressure approaching the quarter pole, started to weaken just before the furlong marker and was outfinished.
