Chart notes

SUMMER COMMANDER was content to track outside rating kindly under a good rhythm, edged up on the outside midturn, moved in to poke his head in front outside in the three path turning for home and drew off comfortably in the final furlong for the win. DIOMEDES had a stalking trip outside foes down the backside, started to mount a rally outside with three furlongs remaining, was urged three wide at the quarter pole by made little gain on the leader and fought on late in the three path to get up for the runners up share in the end. GUN COURT seized command right from the get-go, had pressure outside from the eventual winner at the five sixteenths pole, was collared inside a rival at the top of the stretch, offered little resistance by the furlong marker and faded in the final sixteenth of a mile losing the place share late. JAGGERSGOTAGUN had a poor start stumbling to his knees on the break trailing in the early stages, took closer order passing a stopping foe outside while five wide at the top of the lane and could not pose a threat to others in the stretch running. ITS TIME TO SHINE settled on the rail in midfield going comfortably in hand along the backside, was roused but could not match strides with others midway around the bend and had little to offer inside runners down the stretch.
