LEFT IN MY DUST was part of the early speed group at the start in the three path, settled into stride tracking the engaged duo inside a fellow runner at the half,, moved in sharply three wide around the bend, quickly took over control outside a quarter mile from home and when asked drew off with authority in the four path down the stretch for the impressive score. WHISKEY ROW had a slim lead in hand in the four path between foes when the gates opened up, tracked outside in the second flight with a half mile to run, could not make any movement on the leaders throughout the turn in the two path, angled out four wide for the drive to the wire, was laying even though under left-handed encouragement while not switching leads down the lane, could not get to the winner late but still showed some grit and managed to get up besting the rest for the secondary share at the finish line. BEARING DOWN was away alertly on the rail, battled for the front inside at the half, could not continue on up front under urging giving way on the fence at the three furlong pole, took the short way around the turn keeping up with others, came back on skimming the rail in upper stretch to fight for the runners up share with a furlong remaining but had to settle for the show money at the wire. COHERENCE was out paced early on spotting the field down the backside stalking rivals just off the fence, picked up a runner on the rail entering the turn, was relegated to the back of the pack again by the quarter pole, shifted out three wide for the stretch run and showed good late interest to pass a couple of runners down the lane getting a minor share in the end. PLAY THE DOTS had a outside stalking trip five deep in the beginning ahead of only one runner, travelled three wide outside rivals at the three eighths marker at the back of the pack, offered a mild run when roused around foes at the quarter marker, angled out widest in the six path at the top of the lane and finished up evenly losing the battle for the minors in deep stretch. PANYARD TAP emerged from the mix up top early to have a head in front outside dueling at the half, edged away from the early speed foe by the five sixteenths pole, was quickly collared by the winner outside with a quarter mile to run, offered no resistance and wilted in the three path by the furlong marker.
