Chart notes
BIT OF MUSIC was in the mix on the fence in the beginning, took back, shifting off the fence to track outside at the half, crept closer when urged inching up on the turn, posed the main opposition five wide at the top of the stretch, grinded away relentlessly to the wire closing in and got up in the final few jumps for the win. EARENDEL was away alertly for a slim lead between horses on the break, cleared to the rail loose up top at the half, rolled along well within herself around the turn, kept on going to the wire but the winner was bearing down outside in deep stretch and just got caught for the frontrunning win nearing the wire. TANDHONEYWITHANE travelled just off the fence in the two path watching the front two, kept pace with the leaders throughout the turn, shifted from the two path in upper stretch to the rail with a furlong to go, could not gain on the contesting front pair late and settled for a clear third at the finish line. TALBOT'S RIPLYN hesitated on the break to be at the back, took closer order but had to be checked coming up to runners too quickly nearing the half mile pole, shifted out three wide in midturn commencing a run, began to pick up rivals outside with a quarter mile from home, angled out in the six path and finished up with good intent to garner a minor share in the end. SOUPER ZESTY ZEST tracked the lead two while tracking in the three path early on, travelled three wide throughout the turn but was losing ground to the lead three runners, angled three wide for the stretch run but had little left for the finish and weakened by the furlong marker. WINDJAMMER WAY had a slow start to begin, progressed on the rail down the backstretch to settle in mid-division by the half, took the short away around the turn but retreated at the quarter pole and had little finish in the stretch drive. CA BAM stalked near the rear four deep on the outside, could not keep up to runners travelling three wide around the bend and failed to menace while three wide in the stretch running.
