Chart notes
COFFEE CRISP stalked from outside, advanced four wide, struck the lead at the quarter pole, moved clear, was kept busy and held foes. LOGISTICS was a bit reluctant to load, settled last but one early, swung six wide turning for home, rallied outside to secure the place. SPIRIT BEAR broke awkwardly and lacked early speed, advanced outside five wide on the turn, loomed a threat at the top of the stretch but evened out. JUST FOLLOW ME pressed the early pace from inside, eased back off the leaders, moved out and split foes in upper stretch, kept on but needed more. ARAMI'S FACTOR vied between runners then inside, faded in the stretch. RED SAMURAI was fractious behind the gate and again once in the stalls, broke well, prompted the pace from outside vying three wide.
