CRYSTAL VISIONS broke out at the start, was nestled in the two path between rivals keeping a close eye on the leader in the first of two turns, tracked the contesting trio in the second tier down the backstretch, waited patiently behind the front group on the final turn, lacked running room three wide at the top of the stretch, found a clear path at the furlong marker, dug in late reaching for more ground and won the battle for the show award at the wire. SHIFTY bobbled at the start, was in tight when jostled between runners in midfield around the initial turn, edged closer three wide with runners on both sides down the backstretch, dropped back for a moment losing some momentum and ground coming up to the five sixteenths marker, re-engaged three wide at the quarter pole, shifted out in range five wide at the top of the lane and finished with energy just losing the duel for the third place share late. ORIENT BEACH tracked the pacesetter three wide into the first turn, assumed command under a pedestrian pace between rivals midway along the backside, had company to her outside at the five sixteenths pole clinging onto the lead. fought on stubbornly on the fence still in the thick of things at the top of the stretch, could not go with the top two runners by the sixteenth pole, tried to fend off closing horses late for the show money but faded in deep stretch losing a couple of placings in the final seventy yards. REGAL MOMENT had the lead just off the fence into the first turn, relinquished the top spot on the rail at the five eighths pole to watch the lead duo down the backside, kept pace saving ground while under a ride on the far turn and finished up willingly in the two path dueling for a minor share in the final furlong. ELLA IT IS was nestled on the rail watching the frontrunner into the first turn, kept a close eye on the contesting trio on the fence down the backstretch, closed the gap mildly inside foes around the last bend, angled to the five path turning for home and finished up gradually gaining on others down the stretch. BRENGUNGIRL stumbled badly on the break, was then allowed to gather herself between runners in the three path near the rear early on, was eager in the two path around a crowd of horses entering the backstretch, offered a brief rally three wide at the three eighths marker until four wide at the quarter pole, could not sustain the run and stalled five wide at the furlong marker. PRINCESS OF STORM travelled on the fence in mid-division, dropped back to be ahead of one runner down the backside, made little impact running two wide though the far turn and had little to show in the seven path for the stretch running. BEACH CRICKET settled between runners in the four path in mid-pack in the early stages, was shuffled back to be four wide in the third flight at the three eighths pole, made little progression outside foes on the final turn and had little to offer swinging out widest in the eight path for the drive to the finish line. SCAT GIRL was unhurried trailing on the fence in the first turn, was checked while coming up to the back of runners at the three quarters pole, could see the whole group on the rail along the backstretch, shifted out three wide midway around the far turn, could not gain on rivals, angled in three wide for the drive but could not get involved in the stretch running.
