Chart notes
ZIPPY GAMBLE settled between rivals in mid-division, edged closer in the two path inside another rival making a move at the quarter pole, angled out having her sights set on the embattled duo in upper stretch, wore down the rivals by the seventy yard pole and edged away for the win at the finish line. HOODLESS tracked the pacesetter in the two path with a fellow rival on her outside, closed the gap measuring the leader while between runners around the bend, moved in to duel outside for the lead at the top of the lane, momentarily poked her head in front with challengers on either side at the sixteenth pole but could not fend off the winner outside in deep stretch. GRETNA GREEN broke sharp for the lead setting a wind aided brisk pace down the backstretch, was collared outside with three sixteenths from home, dug in stubbornly on the fence until the sixteenth pole, gave way to the top two late but still stayed on comfortably to be a clear third in the end. BROWN BUTTER SAGE was out paced early seeing the field along the backside, improved in the turn catching up to a rival three wide on the outside by the quarter pole, shifted to the four path with momentum and finished up willingly to pass some down the lane to collect the minor placing at the wire. MEDUSA'S GOLD travelled on the rail in midfield early on, dropped back while saving ground to trail the field through the turn and found something in reserve late to pass weary rivals on the inside in the final furlong. RELOAD EH bobbled at the break, stalked three deep near the rear along the backside, offered a brief run three wide at the quarter pole outside, angled out to the six path for the drive but failed to menace in the stretch running. LET'S BE FIRST travelled three deep outside a rival watching the frontrunner, chased three wide around the turn, could not match strides with the lead duo by the quarter ole, shifted four wide for the drive but folded at the furlong marker.
