Chart notes
SIR MAXIMUS vied for the lead outside rivals then took full control early, led three then two wide around the bend and drew away under right handed urging and steady handling. ELIGIO raced up close off the rail, ridden along in the three path on the turn, entered the lane three to four wide, could not threaten the winner in the stretch run but outdueled IGNATOWSKI for second. IGNATOWSKI chased widest up the backstretch, traveled four wide through the turn, exited the bend four to five wide, kept on through the lane and was outkicked by ELIGIO for second. BATTLE CRUISER chased under coaxing from inside, cut the corner into the lane and lacked a rally. HE DID raced in range off the rail, trailed two wide then found the rail on the turn and failed to respond when asked. HE'SQUITE MISCHIEF had early speed then remained close up in the early going, rounded the bend in the two path and weakened in the drive.
