Chart notes
BARTHOLDY set the pace under pressure from FIFTH STREET to the inside, put that rival away at the five-sixteenths pole, drew away under left handed urging and was kept to task to the line. FIFTH STREET pressed the pace from inside up the backstretch, lost touch with the winner at the five-sixteenths pole, came off the rail giving chase into the stretch, finished willingly down the lane and was clearly second best. JERRY'S SPIRIT stalked off the rail, traveled three then four wide around the turn and could not produce a bid. GENTLEMEN'S CLUB trailed early, went two wide into the turn, moved out approaching the stretch and earned a minor award while failing to threaten. HONDO CROUCH coaxed along the inside then angled out while dropping off the pace, rounded the bend three then two wide and proved no menace. LITTLEBROTHERJOEY forwardly placed from inside, lost ground under urging on the turn and tired down the lane.
