Chart notes
TAKES THREE dueled into the first turn from inside, came off the rail a bit to bother a rival then cleared, took pressure in the middle stages, headed at the three-eighths pole, lost command at the five-sixteenths marker, dueled into the stretch, chased after the new leader at the three-sixteenths pole, came back on from inside in the final furlong, found more under right handed urging and edged the runner-up in a narrow photo. WE CAN settled four wide outside rivals, chased four deep leaving the backstretch, gained on the top pair around the second bend, swept by in upper stretch, held a short lead over TAKES THREE into the final furlong, fought head to head late and just missed. MICI'S EXPRESS settled in the three path between rivals, went three deep into the far turn, driven two wide into the stretch and gained third. J DUTTON settled in the two path, chased between rivals on the far turn, tipped out approaching the stretch and lacked the needed rally. BIG DRINKER broke a step slow, tucked inside at the back, angled out at the five-sixteenths pole and improved position. WINDRIBBON vied three deep into the first turn, took a stalking position from outside around the clubhouse turn, moved up to press the leader from outside on the backstretch, raced on even terms with three furlongs remaining, seized command approaching the five-sixteenths pole, lost command in upper stretch and folded. NAUVOO sent from the gate, showed speed between rivals then got put in tight early on the clubhouse turn, chased up the backstretch and was roused at the half-mile pole, dropped back on the second bend and tired.
