Chart notes
CHIQUITA REINA off a step slow, raced back, moved closer three wide by late in the turn, engaged the leader from the outside inside the furlong grounds and wore that rival down under steady handling. BOOGIE WOOGIE GAL broke on top, showed the way up the backstretch while angling a bit toward the rail, continued to hold a daylight advantage into and through upper stretch, responded when confronted by the winner a furlong out, gave ground grudgingly to that rival while clearly second best. LIL KNOCKOUT chased the runner up front along the rail, had little for that one or the runner up through the lane, saved the show. NO PAY NO HAY raced in the second flight along the inside, went evenly through the stretch in lacking a closing response. FOXY ZORRA failed to menace while four wide through much of the turn. TEXAS SEQUOIA void of speed, floated out to be five wide turning for home, remained back while also failing to come up with a closing response. INDIAN SPIRIT was finished early while racing three wide.
