Chart notes

PINEAPPLE JUICE was a bit fractious in the gate prior to the start, vied for the early lead then took back to track the solid pace, saved ground while well placed approaching the turn, tipped to the two path along the bend, pressed NOT MY RODEO to the quarter pole then battled that rival into upper stretch, shook free at the furlong marker, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held in a drive late over the oncoming runner-up. UNBRIDLED RHYTHM settled just off of the decent early pace, tracked between runners heading to the half-mile marker, chased inside of rivals into the turn and got caught a bit in tight nearing the quarter marker, angled three wide into upper stretch, closed willingly in the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and bested the rest to be a clear second. NOT MY RODEO hustled away from the start, assumed early command and showed good speed nearing the half-mile marker, set the pace into the turn and carved out decent fractions nearing the quarter pole, challenged into upper stretch by PINEAPPLE JUICE, met that foe's bid then was outkicked at mid-stretch, chased into the final sixteenth, yielded in deep stretch and was outfinished for second, while holding clearly for third. ST BOADIN away in good order, rated off of the solid early pace, trailed into the turn, saved ground to the top of the stretch and could not muster a late response. HOMER WELLS close up to the decent early pace, chased two to three wide into the turn, could not keep pace into the stretch and gave way in the final furlong. UNCLE DUSAN allowed to settle while never far back, tracked the decent pace three wide into the turn, was outrun into the stretch and did not factor late.
