Chart notes
WHY EM SEA AY was lightly bumped at the start, stalked the pace from outside mostly three wide, advanced while floating out a path turning for home, took a narrow lead at the three-sixteenths, began to move clear by mid-stretch, was kept busy to the wire. OCEAN MERMAID (GB) was bumped hard at the start, nevertheless moved forward soon after without much urging to take the lead by the three-quarters, set the pace from off the rail without being asked, was challenged at the top of the stretch, proved no match for the winner but was clearly second best. PLAISIR D'AMOUR broke outwardly, shifted in and advanced between foes up the backstretch stalking from the second group in behind, shifted five wide turning for home, ran on to get show honors while no threat to the top pair. STOLEN VALOUR tracked from inside close up, was off the rail in the two path turning for home, ran on. PRINCESS ANASTASIA bumped the inside rival hard at the start, shifted in early moving up a bit closer to the rest of the group, angled seven wide at the top of the stretch, needed more. QUEST TO BE PROUD settled off the pace, saved ground inside, failed to menace. DESIGN DIVA broke inwardly, switched out off the inside early racing at the back, swung six wide for the drive, was never a threat. TENTOMIDNIGHT stalked from outside racing mostly three to six wide throughout, faded in the stretch.
