Chart notes
PETCOFF vied two wide and between horses early on, then along the inside as an outer rival sustained pressure around the turn, shook clear in upper stretch and drew off under mild urging. THUNDER APPEAL vied along the inside before backing off to stalk from the pocket approaching the turn, proved no match for the clearing leader while bidding for place inside of a pair of foes in upper stretch, and edged that position at the furlong grounds. CAFE RACER tracked in the three path, offered a three wide bid for place in upper stretch but got outkicked. FLAME ROCK FIRE leaned outwardly at the start, prompted three to two wide into the turn, proved no match for the leader in upper stretch and faded between place-bidders at the furlong grounds. U RASCAL U lacked speed in the four path and failed to factor. STEAMROLLER broke a step slow, lacked speed along the inside, bobbled subtly at the three furlong pole and trailed thereafter.
