MAP'S A BREEZE stalked on the rail near the rear, was urged at the half to get interested, nearing the three furlongs pole was encouraged left-handed for some more run, rallied on the fence in the turn, shifted out bullying his through making a path five wide in upper stretch and was full of run down the lane to take command at the sixteenth pole to draw away convincingly in the late stages. ENGLISH ACTOR was bumped outside at the start, tracked four wide in the first turn, settled in the two path between foes in the tracking group down the backside, moved in at the five sixteenths pole to bid for the lead three wide with a quarter remaining, could not fend off the winner in the last seventy yards but showed a solid effort nonetheless to best the rest at the finish line. BIG SHOOTER was allowed to settle at the rear for most of the race, began to pick up the bit when urged left handed with five sixteenths from the wire taking closer order around the final bend, shifted out having a clear lane in the four path straightening for the drive, found his best stride late and finished up smartly to win the show battle between runners. BEYOND ADVERSITY tracked the front pair on the rail in the early parts, was roused creeping closer on the fence on the far turn, had to wait lacking running room behind the embattled trio at the quarter pole, shifted five wide finding a seam at the top of the lane and finished up willingly to settle on the fringes in the end. THOR'S CAUSE stalked close to the back, ahead of a couple runners early on, improved slightly down the backside to be in the third flight outside, was hard ridden midway through the final turn, took closer order by the quarter pole, was pushed out by the winner six wide at the top of the stretch and could not threaten late, lacking a finish in deep stretch. POLITICAL WARFARE was content to track on the rail in the beginning, edged up in the two path around the final turn, poked his head in front between foes briefly leaving the quarter pole, dueled in the two path in upper stretch but gave way on the fence in the final sixteenth. SPRUNG LOOSE stalked ahead of one rival in the early stages, made little progression around the final bend, angled out seven wide for the drive to the wire and managed to pass a couple of tired foes down the lane. LUMBERYARD broke in at the start, was hustled in the two path leading the field into the first turn, freewheeled all alone up top down the back straight, held on up front but by a diminishing margin on the far turn, was collared outside by the quarter pole and folded in mid-stretch. PARADISE PERFECT travelled five wide outside tracking the top two in the initial turn, settled three deep in the second tier along the backside, could not keep up three wide at the three eighths pole, retreated throughout the far turn and could not factor in the seven path in the stretch run.
