Chart notes

LEGAL CATCH bobbled just slightly at the start, tucked in behind near mid-pack but off the fence, settled in the three path in the back half of the field up the backstretch, was encouraged along coming to the quarter pole, angled out seven wide turning for home, took aim and rallied strongly to drive past and clear the final sixteenth. TIZ ROMANTIC moved forward and tucked in, stalked in behind off the rail and inside a foe, moved out three wide and advanced under urging coming to the quarter pole, drew alongside the leader by upper stretch, bid for the lead near the sixteenth pole, was no match for the winner but got the nod for place. GRANDE SOIREE tracked in behind two to three wide not too far off the leaders ahead of mid-division, took closer order leaving the far turn coming out four then five wide turning for home, loomed a threat, kept on evenly and got the nod for show. FROSTED OVER moved forward and had the early lead into the first turn but ceded it to another rival content to stalk in behind that one, advanced on the far turn outside taking the lead at the five-sixteenths, was challenged in mid-stretch and fought on but was outfinished. WENTRU moved forward three wide on the first turn, took the lead after the opening quarter, moved clear up the backstretch to dictate terms, was headed past the three-eighths, had no extra in the lane. GRANDSON settled outside at the rear two to three wide came out a tad for the drive, gained mildly between runners late. EXUDE settled at the rear inside, trailed into the far turn, came out off the rail three then four wide, was guided wider still in the stretch, ran on. ONE MORE BREW broke inwardly a bit, moved forward outside the second flight, stalked from outside racing four wide on both turns, was under a ride coming to the top of the stretch and floated out a bit wider, weakened in the lane. ONENIGHTSTANDARDS was caught four wide early racing mid-pack, floated eight wide turning for home, failed to menace. ROYAL SPIRIT saved ground on both turns but was not a factor. SAILOR'S PASSION got away a step slowly losing the path and having to steady slightly, raced outside at the back, swung eight wide turning for home, was never near enough to threaten. RUNAWAY CHARLIE settled off the pace and racing wide early, moved out five to six wide up the backstretch, was encouraged along by the half, continued wide on the far turn floating seven deep into upper stretch, tired.
