Chart notes
COUNCIL'S JAZEL saved ground while being unhurried, angled out three-wide nearing the three-sixteenths pole and finished fast to be up in the final strides. K P BLAMENGAME saved ground chasing MARKED ACE, slipped through entering the stretch and closed srrongly. MARKED ACE set the pace racing slightly removed from the rail, responded when asked and held on gamely to the wire while being unable to resist the top two late. VEGUITA was allowed to settle, swung out to be six-wide entering the stretch and rallied late. FREEDOM DEFENDER was prominently place for a half mile while racing three-wide and weakened. JAZZY RED showed early speed while racing four-wide and tired. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
