Chart notes
SPRING MAGIC tracked the pace on the outside, made a bid in the four to five path on the turn, took the lead late on that bend, shook clear into upper stretch, responded well when put to the crop outside the furlong marker and proved much the best under steady urging. DOLCE SERA was urged along on the outside, moved in near the nine-sixteenths pole, chased in the two path for most of the turn then shifted to the three path, was driven into the stretch in the four path and safely secured the place while no match for the winner. KAREN'S HONOR disputed the pace on the inside of two opponents, vied along the rail while asked on the turn, dropped back into the stretch and weakened while clear for the show. STARRY MIDNIGHT disputed the pace between horses, vied in the two path while still between horses on the turn, dropped back into the stretch and also weakened. LADY JASMINE disputed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path for most of the turn then moved to the four path, turned into the stretch in the five path and tired. SHOOPTHEREITIS dropped back then was urged along at the rear, saved ground on the turn and was no factor.
