Chart notes
CHILENO stalked the pace setter three wide, made a three to four wide bid leaving the turn and went on even terms for command by the furlong marker and then drew off under left handed crop urging to prove much the best. NORMANDY HERO was away alertly to show the way while unchallenged and racing off the rail, remained clear and in the two path on the turn, came two to three wide off the bend and was headed by the winner by the furlong marker and proved to be no match for that rival while lasting for the place award. WAKE SURF tracked the early pace from the outside, then was in the three to four path on the turn, came five wide off the bend but offered no rally in the lane while clearly besting the rest. O P FIRECRACKER was allowed to settle along the inside and continued to save ground on the turn but tired. PORTOS was off slowly and hit the gate at the start, settled back on the inside and failed to threaten. ICE TIME broke awkwardly and was off slowly at the break, settled back and was three wide on the turn and never factored. WHISKEY N SODA was settled early two wide, three wide on the turn and dropping back, came five wide off the bend and tired.
