Chart notes
VERY SAVVY stalked near the rear in the three path with runners on either side, made little impression in the two path at the back of the pack around the bend, shifted out having a clear lane in the six path turning for home, was full of run reaching for more ground at the furlong marker taking over control by the sixteenth pole and was pulling away for the stretch running victory at the finish line. LEGALLY CHARITABLE kept a close eye on the pacesetter travelling on the rail down the backside, was nudged on the fence sitting just behind the leader through the turn, shifted outside for a clear run in the two path in the thick of things at the top of the stretch, was no match for the winner outside in the final furlong for the win but did manage to fight on stubbornly to prevail for the place share at the wire inside. CRIMSON NIGHTS prompted the pace outside down the backstretch, continued to chase the frontrunner on the outside throughout the turn, was in the hunt three wide with many runners having a chance in upper stretch and ran on mildly in the final furlong to capture the show award. VICTORIA ELIZABETH was pinched between rivals on the break to trail in the beginning, was keen moving up between foes in midfield in tight quarters at the half, was shuffled back some while going three wide through the turn, found a seam four wide to be in range straightening out for the drive and finished up mildly late cloing in to be a fringe player in the end. SOUPER COP travelled five deep on the outside in midfield down the backside, offered a mild rally three wide outside runners through the turn, angled to the five path between horses at the top of the lane, did not switch leads down the stretch and faded by the furlong marker. I HAVE AN IDEA emerged from the group to have a slim lead with rivals on both sides into the backstretch, continued up top comfortably around the bend, was clinging onto the lead on the fence in upper stretch, could not find more late and was engulfed tiring inside runners in the final furlong. FAITHFUL CREEK settled at the rear in the four path with the field tightly bunched at the half, made little movement three wide outside rivals through the turn, shifted out widest in the seven path for the drive to the wire but had no finish to offer in the stretch running.
