SUPER SERENADE settled close up into the first turn, moved forward outside to press up the backstretch, could not keep pace dropping back from the seven-sixteenths, swung six wide into upper stretch, came again to bid at the eighth pole, was no match for the winner but secured the place. MISS OZEGE was forced out at the start, caught outside three to four wide in the early going, made a mild advance outside heading to the far turn and shifted in a bit racing nearer the rail and moving up in behind the leading pair coming to the top of the stretch, found room between to make a mild bid near the furlong marker under strong urging but could only kick on for show honors. NO VISOR broke outwardly, was caught outside three to four wide early racing mid-pack, moved up into the far turn making a mild bid outside at the five-sixteenths, evened out in the lane. SIL'S GAMBLE was well-placed into the first turn then moved forward outside taking the lead by the six- and one-half, set the pace up the backstretch, was engaged by an outside foe dueling briefly on the far turn, lacked the needed late kick. ECLIPTICAL LADYBUG broke a step slowly and lost the path at the start, raced mostly three to four wide, was ridden along three furlongs out, failed to menace. HEY NIAMH was caught outside foes early racing mostly three to four deep, shifted in a bit midway on the far turn under urging, was never near enough to threaten. KEE'S FLATTER hit the gate, was ridden along early dropping back rapidly between foes, was not a factor. DANISH COOKIE broke inwardly, showed very brief speed inside, retreated.
