Chart notes
CALL ME Q dueled for the lead with an outer rival then kicked away in upper stretch. JERRY'S EIGHTY lacked speed in the two path, then sustained rail progress to edge place late. ONASA was brushed between horses at the start, laid off of the pace in the three path, ran on in the four path into the final furlong, bid for place along with a rail rallying rival in the final sixteenth but was outkicked. MESA SPIRIT brushed with an inner foe at the start, stalked the embattled leading pair from the three path, ranged closer entering the lane, claimed place while proving no match for the clearing leader in upper stretch, pursued that one while hanging on his left lead thereafter and weakened between place-bidders late. TWIRLING ROSES bobbled at the start, trailed in the three to five path and made little impact. INDIA INK brushed with an outer foe leaving the gate, dueled for the lead with an inner rival around the turn, but weakened in upper stretch and stopped.
