Chart notes
MAXIMUM FIFTY was away alertly clearing to the rail taking this field down the backside, rolled along unopposed throughout the turn, continued up top with no challengers in sight at the top of the stretch and under a well rated ride had more left for the drive to cruise in comfortably for the front running score. SOUPER SUNDAY had a tracking role on the rail in the early going, edged up on the fence taking the short way around the turn, shifted just outside to be two wide straightening out for the drive to the wire, seized the runners up share in upper stretch but was no match for the winner who had it all his own way loose up front. IZATIZ chased the pace with runners on either side down the backstretch, was ridden through the turn but could not make any gain on the front running winner around the bend, shifted out three wide battling briefly for second money in upper stretch, could not offer a kick down the lane and settled for a clear but distant third at the finish line. CLASSY IMAGE settled in midfield three deep on the outside down the backstretch, regressed three wide outside horses around the bend, shifted out to the four path for the stretch run and finished up one paced to settle on the fringes in the end. FOOLISH GAMES broke slow to trail the field at the start, closed the gap on runners to track the lead pair while in the second flight between horses into the turn, made little headway around the turn, shifted out three wide in with a chance for a small piece of the prize in upper stretch but had no finish inside runners in the final furlong.
