Chart notes
ONE SMOKIN DUDE raced in range off the inside, navigated the turn four wide, moved out and put to right handed urging, inhaled NAP at the sixteenth pole and edged clear. GREY AREA flashed early speed then was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, chased three wide to the stretch, rallied from inside in the final furlong, fought even terms with outer pair with a sixteenth remaining, got outclosed by the winner and edged NAP to regain second. NAP sped clear to set the tone up the backstretch, padded the lead two wide on the turn, held a diminished lead into the final furlong, clung to a narrow margin at the sixteenth pole and yielded late. KEITHING THUNDER got bumped leaving the gate then got bumped again and checked between shortly after, chased from off the pace three wide around the bend, kept trying in the lane to improve but failed to threaten. TEN FIGURES dropped back early, rounded the bend in the four path, tipped out in the drive and improved position. JAMES J. BRADDOCK bumped leaving the gate, chased two wide outside a rival and weakened. GLASS OF JAMESON settled well off the rail, raced five wide through the turn and lacked a response. HE'ZA TEN chased along the rail and tired.
