Chart notes
GIVE ME THE BOOTS was quick to lead, set the pace from off the rail, drifted out in the stretch but held sway under steady handling. CHROMEPLATED HEART was rank early fighting the rider in behind the pacesetter and eventual winner, tracked from off the rail, set down for the drive three wide coming past the quarter pole outside the leader, could make no headway in the stretch altering inside that foe inside the sixteenth pole and kept on evenly while second best. ANAM CARA settled off the pace, fanned nine wide turning for home, kept on to gain late for show honors. VERI GIZMO saved ground racing inside and went evenly. SILENT AND SINFUL chased from outside three to four wide, was encouraged along past the three-eighths, ran on but needed more late. TWO SIP SALLY made a mild advance outside four to six wide, evened out in the lane. SPIRIT BEAR moved a swift early advance inside then eased back off the front-runners and switched out, came out five wide turning for home, needed more. OL' BLONDIE was off the pace three to four wide, fanned eight deep into upper stretch, flattened out. JIMMY'S AFFAIR chased the leaders mid-pack and outside, was under a drive by the quarter pole, fanned out leaving the turn but was in tight five to six wide at the top of the stretch, faded thereafeter.
