Chart notes
BERTIE'S CAUSE in the second group early outside, advanced on the dueling leaders three wide late in the turn, challenged on the outside of that pair turning for home, dueled past the furlong marker, wore down foe under firm handling. OPPOSITE THE CROWD dueled up front early while off the inside, put a head in front between horses entering the stretch as the winner came calling, dueled with that one past midstretch then gave ground grudgingly, finished well clear of the others. CHIP SHORTAGE away in good order, narrowly showed the way up the backstretch, dueled inside the runner up through the turn, could not keep up with that foe or the runner up in the drive, comfortably saved the show. ADIVA headed up the second flight toward the inside, had nothing for the stretch drive. CLEARLY CREEPS remained back while racing off the inside. DONYA KNOW IT last away, trailed, came four to five wide into the stretch, lacked a rally.
