COME OUT FIGHTING rated just off of the early pace, tracked the moderate pace while inside of runners heading to the half-mile pole, saved ground into the turn, loomed inside nearing the quarter pole and vied for the lead into upper stretch, met the bid of VALIANT SON into the final sixteenth, took a narrow advantage in deep stretch and held well late for a determined win. VALIANT SON close up in the early stages, stalked the moderate pace four wide into the turn, vied for the lead three deep into upper stretch, drew to even terms with COME OUT FIGHTING and dueled that rival into the final sixteenth, fought gamely to the wire and just missed for the win, while besting the rest. EVERYDAYISSATURDAY settled just off of the moderate early pace, was well placed while two to three wide into the turn, waited a bit for racing room at the quarter marker, swung to the four path into the stretch, closed well into the final sixteenth, could not impact the leading pair in deep stretch and got up late for third. CLEVER CLOVER broke alertly, ceded the early lead to RIGHT HAND RYDER and pressed the moderate pace outside of that rival heading to the half-mile pole, disputed the fractions three wide into the turn, dueled to the quarter pole then took a narrow lead into upper stretch, battled between rivals into the lane, held a narrow lead at the eighth pole, got caught in tight between runners into the final sixteenth, yielded in deep stretch and was outfinished for third at the wire. RIGHT HAND RYDER hustled to assume early command, engaged with CLEVER CLOVER and contested moderate fractions inside of that rival, disputed the pace from the two path into the turn, could not keep pace into upper stretch and faded in the stretch drive. NOVINOPHOBIA was crowded at the start and was a bit slow away from the gate, unhurried early, went two to three wide nearing the quarter marker and did not offer a late response.
