CLASSY was sent from the break and seized the early lead without too much pressure, led the field to the far turn then opened up approaching the five-sixteenths marker, started to drift outward from the top of the stretch, held the lead to the wire but finished the race near the outside fence. VULIN unhurried and allowed to settle from the break, tracked two wide near the rear to the half-mile pole, bided time through the far turn then took advantage of a huge opening to the inside, finished strong under steady handling and got second despite drifting out some in mid-stretch. TROJAN WAY off a beat slowly, was pushed forward but encountered some traffic and had to steady and alter course at the seven-eighths pole, forced OH ANGEL out a path when forced to alter course when PRINCESS HEKAWI suddenly veered out, was traveling well down the backstretch while about four wide, went into a stiff drive after passing the five-sixteenths, came five or six wide into the stretch and finished well under steady handling and intermittent urging to gain third. BOLD DAUGHTER was away well and allowed to settle inside, rated near the back of the back through the early stages, was cued to move forward approaching the half-mile pole and was up with the leaders heading into the far turn, had to wait briefly near the three furlong pole then was set down in earnest from that point, was under heavy pressure at the top of the stretch but flattened out. OH ANGEL got caught five wide into the first turn, advanced steadily from the back to the front around the clubhouse turn, sat just behind CLASSY for the run down the backstretch, launched a bid for the lead approaching the three furlong marker but was unable to go on with that one into the stretch and was outfinished in the late stages. MAX'S MAXINE came away well and was pushed to get forward position, ceded the lead to CLASSY then tracked a length or two behind the pace down the backstretch, struggled to keep up with the pace passing the three furlong pole then was kept to task and came back on a bit but was not good enough. PRINCESS HEKAWI hesitated briefly as the gates opened but was still one of the passing the stands for the first time, was forwardly placed early, then raced mid-pack to the far turn, dropped out of contention early into the far turn and came up empty in the stretch. This race was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
