Chart notes
GALLOPING MAJOR was close up to the decent early pace, took back and tracked the pace from outside of rivals approaching the turn, chased three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, circled five wide into upper stretch and ran evenly to the furlong marker, closed fast while widest into the final sixteenth, surged to the front in deep stretch and held in the final strides to prevail. IM GUNNA forwardly placed away from the start, stalked the decent early pace while widest approaching the half-mile marker, went up and pressed the pace outside of TIGERSUN entering the turn, disputed moderate fractions to the quarter pole, took command into upper stretch then shook free nearing the furlong grounds, kept to task while leading into the final sixteenth, was caught by the oncoming winner in deep stretch and held at the wire for second. TOUCHDOWN KITTLE broke alertly and assumed early command, ceded the front to TIGERSUN and stalked the moderate pace inside of runners heading to the half-mile marker, saved ground into the turn and chased to the quarter pole, shifted out into upper stretch and ran evenly to the furlong pole, re-rallied in the final sixteenth and got up late for third. TIGERSUN hustled away from the start, assumed early command and set a decent pace while pressured nearing the half-mile marker, engaged with IM GUNNA and dueled inside of that runner entering the turn, disputed moderate fractions nearing the quarter pole, chased IM GUNNA into the stretch, stayed on into the final furlong, yielded in the late stages and was outfinished for the minor awards. MOOLA MAN hit the gate leaving the start and was off a bit slowly, settled off of the decent early pace, improved position two to three wide along the turn, ran evenly to mid-stretch and could not muster the needed late response. EL GOLOSO settled off of the decent early pace while not far back, saved ground into the turn, maintained an inside path to the stretch and did not factor late. SEAVER WAY forwardly placed in the early stages, chased the moderate pace between runners heading to the half-mile marker, ran in pursuit two to three wide into the turn, was outrun to the quarter marker and tired in the stretch drive.
