WALK'N THE BEACH broke alertly and was sent away from the start, engaged with RETINA VIBRATING and disputed moderate early fractions from outside of that foe, dueled into the turn, maintained a narrow lead at the quarter marker then met the bid of NEPHELE into upper stretch, battled on even terms with that rival approaching the eighth pole, repelled the runner-up into the final sixteenth and held in deep stretch to prove best. NEPHELE hopped at the start and was off a step slowly, recovered and was forwardly placed to begin, stalked the leading pair two to three wide into the turn, loomed into upper stretch then battled on even terms with WALK'N THE BEACH nearing the furlong grounds, was repelled in the final sixteenth and stayed on late to be second best. PRINCESS FAVE broke awkwardly and was last away from the gate, recovered and tracked the moderate early pace from between runners, saved ground into the turn and advanced at the quarter pole, maintained an inside path to the stretch and ran evenly to the furlong marker, needed more into the final sixteenth, finished evenly but was able to get up in the final strides to secure the show honors. ON TIME TAM hustled to be forwardly placed early on, chased the moderate early pace from inside of runners, saved ground into the turn, got caught in tight nearing the quarter marker, angled three wide into the stretch and ran in pursuit to the eighth pole, lacked the needed late response and was nailed at the finish for third. RETINA VIBRATING hard sent away from the start, engaged with WALK'N THE BEACH and disputed the moderate early pace inside of that rival, dueled into the turn, was asked to quicken into upper stretch, could not find more in the stretch drive and faded in the lane. SWEET RYDER lacked early speed, trailed two wide into the turn and did not factor in the stretch drive. HARBOR STRIKE allowed to settle, chased two to three wide into the turn and did not threaten in the stretch.
