Chart notes
SOULMATE was allowed to rattle on loose up top, was unopposed going down the backstretch for the very last time, ran them off their feet opening up at will through the last turn and coasted home comfortably for the front running victory when crossing the finish line. NONNO'S LITTLE BOY stalked near the back ahead of one rival, made a sharp eye-catching move swooping three wide around horses at the three-furlong pole, continued to move strong through the turn, won the battle for the runners up share by mid-stretch and chased the winner home to easily best the rest at the finish line. MEDIA SENSATION travelled on the outside in the second tier, started to make a good rally fighting for the place share inside with five sixteenths to go, battled inside for the secondary share in upper stretch with the winner long gone turning for home and finished up willingly to be a clear third after a mile and a half marathon. PRIDEOFDISTINCTION was unhurried trailing on the fence, closed the gap on the leaders by the half, shifted out three wide at the three eighths pole coming with a run, angled out five wide at the top of the stretch and finished up mildly for a minor role at the finish line. SPRING MOUNTAIN hounded the pacesetter outside in the early going, tracked the loose on the lead winner down the backside, was scrubbed on unable to go with the leader in the final turn, lost position between horses with five sixteenths to go and finished up one paced in the stretch running in a spread of bunch down the lane. MAMBOINTHEFOREST stalked in the third flight on the outside in the early stages, made little impact in the two path between foes on the far turn, shifted out three wide for the stretch run but could not get involved travelling inside foes down the lane. PLAY THE DOTS stalked on the inside in the third flight, was urged for more but could not keep up with horses by the three-furlong pole and passed a couple of tired foes in the final quarter of amuile. CUPID'S CLAWS was well back watching the front twosome in the early stages of the race, edged up closing the gap but was under a ride by the half, backed away on the fence through the turn and had nothing more left in the tank to give in the stretch running. COPROLITE refused to leave the gate on the start and walked off.STEWARDS INQUIRY REGARDING THE BREAK ?#4 COPROLITE WAS DEEMED TO HAVE RECEIVED A FAIR START
