Chart notes
STOP THE HUMBUG settled toward the back near inside, gradually moved out leaving the far turn, came into upper stretch five wide and much nearer the leaders, altered in a couple paths for room, bid between foes taking command a sixteenth out and kicking clear. BANKER'S HOURS stalked from mid-pack between runners into the turn, went four to six wide on that bend, bid in mid-stretch, was no match for the winner but held second. THREE SONNY SIDEUP broke a step slowly and in a bit tight, was caught wide lacking speed racing outside foes toward the back, entered the turn five wide, fanned nin wide into upper stretch, gained steadily while coming in a bit and got up for show. VICTORIA'S CHIEF raced between foes off the pace, moved out from four to six wide on the turn coming into upper stretch seven deep, was outfinished for show honors. GRAND ALLIANCE was forced out at the start bumping a rival, was encouraged along between runners early on the turn racing three to five wide on that bend, angled out nine wide in the stretch, finished well but far too late. HIGHLAND SOCIETY was urged forward after the start, moved up inside tracking just off the leaders, found room up the rail to make a mild bid near the eighth pole but evened out thereafter. COMPUTER HACKER settled well back off but near the rail, came into upper stretch three deep or so, rallied through traffic in the lane to improve. KID FORESTER was in a tad tight at the start, lacked early speed racing outside at the back, was about three to four wide on the turn, came out six wide in upper stretch, ran on. BLACKTECA came out at the break but still quickly made the leda, set the pace from off the rail, lugged out near the eighth pole and weakened. FORESTER HUMOR chased from outside, exchanged minor contact leaving the backstretch, dropped back while shifting in from four to three wide turning into upper stretch, was carried in even further and faded late. TRICKY MAGICIAN was bumped at the start, moved up outside foes racing mid-pack into the turn, went five to seven wide on that bend and into upper stretch, flattened out. MIA AND ME chased from between runners mostly two to three wide coming out a bit on the turn under encouragement, moved back in for the drive, lacked room almost the entire length of the stretch in behind runners. EXCEED broke outwardly, settled well back inside, saved ground on the turn, was in tight along the rail past the eighth pole steadying and dropping back. SUNYANI was up close prompting the pace from outside racing mostly three then four wide, bumped with a rival into the turn, steadied when in tight near the eighth pole and faded thereafter.
