Chart notes
MADAME OBEY broke out on the start, travelled three deep keeping a close eye on the frontrunner down the backstretch, dropped back losing position at the three eighths pole, re-rallied when roused four wide with a quarter mile to go, angled out six wide having run straightening out for the stretch run, switched leads shifting to the four path at the furlong marker, was full of run late surging inside the leader and edged away for the win in the final seventy yards. NATA TROUBLE was brushed inside on the start, settled in midfield four deep down the back straight, made an early move swooping around the field three wide on the turn, seized control outside in the four path at the top of the lane , needed more in the late stages but was unable to fend off the late surge by the winner inside in deep stretch. THREAD assumed the front setting a moderate pace along the backside, nudged along holding the lead throughout the turn, was collared outside while two wide at the top of the stretch, offered little resistance at the furlong pole conceding the lead and finished up to hold for a distant third at the wire. PERIWINKLE travelled in the two path between horses watching the lone speed in the beginning, chased the pacesetter with rivals on either side around the bend, shifted out three wide for the stretch drive to be in range if good enough at the top of the lane, stayed on the wrong lead to the wire but did come on late to get a minor role in the end. MCGILL had a tracking role one the rail, kept pace with the leader taking the short way around the turn, skimmed the fence in with a chance for a share in upper stretch but faded in deep stretch inside foes losing a placing late. SCAT GIRL was out paced early on trailing the field down the backside, made little impact still seeing the field through the turn and showed some late interest to pass a weary runner in mid-stretch. MISS PIERRE settled on the r ail ahead of only one rival down the backside, was urged for more on the fence making no gain through the running around the bend and emptied out in the three path at the furlong pole.
