Chart notes
THAT'S THE WAY was unhurried early, rallied four-wide into the stretch then angled in nearing the eighth pole and finished with a rush to be up in the final strides. WILDCAT EXPRESS was forwardly placed while racing four-wide, moved up to take the lead nearing the quarter pole, settled into the stretch with a clear lead and then just failed to last. RECKLESS L J was reserved off the early pace, swung out to be five-wide leaving the quarter pole and finished in a mild rally. BISCUITS AND GRITS was prominently placed while racing three-wide on the turn, came six-wide into the stretch and went evenly. CORNER OFFICE was allowed to settle, rallied eight-wide into the stretch and improved his position. THE PINK Z vied for the lead with HOITROD BOBBY while racing three-wide and weakened. HOTROD BOBBY vied for the early lead while racing two-wide and tired. STUNT MAN was close-up early racing along the inside, steadied nearing the seven-sixteenths pole in tight and was unable to recover.
