Chart notes

ADIOS NICANOR tracked the moderate pace from between runners, was well placed while two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, chased TRAVEL THE MAP into the lane, overtook the runner-up into the final sixteenth and kicked clear late. TRAVEL THE MAP broke alertly, set the moderate pace to the turn, held a clear lead nearing the quarter marker, was clear into the stretch, could not hold off the winner in the final sixteenth and held for second at the finish. LIGHT THE BEAM crowded at the start by an inner rival, was away slowly and allowed to settle early on, trailed into the turn, went three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, closed in the stretch drive and was up in time to secure the show honors. ALOHA CHROME settled off of the early pace while never far back, chased two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, mounted a late rally and just missed for third. MAJESTIC COTTON crowded a neighboring rival at the start, tracked the pace outside of runners, went three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, lacked a response into the stretch and weakened. ST BOADIN tracked the moderate pace from the inside and gave way.
