Chart notes
ONE TRUE SHANCE vied for the lead two wide and between horses, led narrowly turning for home and drove clear entering the final furlong. CARAMBASO led narrowly from a pair of outer prompters into the turn, got headed by his most immediate counterpart at the five sixteenths pole, fought on through upper stretch, but yielded at the furlong grounds, then fended off an outer bidder for place late. AMERICAN CITY broke a step slow, trailed in the two path, brushed an outer rival while moving out to the five path in upper stretch, ran on to attempt a late bid for place but was kept at bay. SMOOTH N SILKY broke outwardly, pursued from the four path, got brushed while chasing in the six path in upper stretch and lacked a bid. SEASONAL LOVE stalked three wide, prompted outside of the top pair around the turn, but weakened entering the lane and caved in hand thereafter.
