Chart notes
MATTHEW'S PATRIOT led the way on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path, dueled in upper stretch and kicked clear from there. WEEKEND BUZZ bumped lightly with the horse to his outside at the start, recovered to chase the leaders up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and kept on to the wire. SHOW SLIDING HOME raced off the pace through the early going, swung out to the five path coming around the bend, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late. POWERFUL PHIL pressed the pace on the inside through the opening quarter, saved ground around the bend, dueled in upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. PLAY BALL tracked the pace setter on the inside up the backstretch, came around the bend in the four path and was outkicked in the lane. VICTORY DIVISION bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming around the turn and showed no kick. STONE COLD CAT trailed the field up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and never threatened. SWEET LEMON DROP raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the opening quarter, saved ground around the bend and was empty in the stretch. JACK BE FAST hopped up and hit the gate leaving it, raced in the middle of the pack between horses up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and tired in the lane.
