EL DEAL ME ACES pressed two wide, gained an advantage with three furlongs to go, cleared once set down entering the lane, resented crop strikes by flashing his tail, drifted outwardly through the final furlong yet held sway from a pursuing foe. POP'S PEPPYSTEPER broke a beat slow, stalked along the inside, pursued the top pair from the three path around the turn, tipped to the five path to take aim outside of the clear leader in upper stretch, slowly narrowed the gap through midstretch, traded aim inside of the drifting leader in the final sixteenth but was kept at bay. LOVELY SASSICAIA laid off of the pace in the four path, fanned out to the six path in upper stretch and moved up. BET ON BOBBY showed the way along the inside, got headed by an outer presser at the three furlong pole and faded in upper stretch. BABY'S LAST DANCE broke a step slow, trailed in the two path and showed little.
