Chart notes
CAJUN GEM set the pace on the inside, shook clear through the turn, then turned back a bid in the stretch and drove clear late. SOUTH AMERICA well placed and outside, angled in and held position through the turn, got through inside the leader into the stretch, then was no match for that one and held the place safe. UNCAPTURED STAR led in the early going, stalked the leader outside, came three wide into the stretch and evened the final furlong. SHARON'S PRINCE mid pack, looped up three wide through the turn, fanned four wide into the stretch and had a mild late gain for a share. FREE RAMBLING MAN passed tiring rivals. DIVEMASTER ran evenly for a half and had no stretch rally. THE BIG CALICO was never involved, widest. STARSHIP VOYAGER tracked the pace, lost position inside through the turn, came through and faded.
