Chart notes
SWEET PAYNE sprinted to a clear lead well off the rail, shook clear and angled in into the turn, then drew off in the stretch and was kept to the task. MISS EMILY tracked the pace, lost some position through the turn, angled three wide into the stretch, then was no threat to the winner, while clearly best of the rest. MT. D'ORO mid pack, looped three and four wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and closed for the show. TAP BONNET never far back, looped four wide through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch, flattened the final furlong and held a share. CHOSEN FACTOR passed tiring rivals. GOPHERS AXE well placed, lost some ground on the two path through the turn, came three wide into the stretch, drifted in and faded. BETTER HAVE CASH well placed, drifted through the turn and faded.
