Chart notes
KENMORE WEST showed the way well in hand in the two path around the turn, inched clear while drifting outwardly and hanging on his left lead in upper stretch, changed leads and straightened course leaving the three sixteenths pole, then widened his margin under mild urging. BLAME ME SERIOUSLY pressed outside of the eventual winner and from the three path, proved no match for that drifting rival in upper stretch and was second best. REGATTA BAY brushed with an outer rival early on, stalked along the inside, chased under strong urging around the turn, then kept on to be best of the rest. SOUTHSCAPE tracked outside of the top pair and from the four path, was roused in pursuit around the turn and gave way through the lane. ARIES HONOR brushed with an inner foe early on, raced off of the pace along the inside and failed to factor. TONI'S INFERNO broke half a beat slow, lacked speed in the three path, swung out to the six path in upper stretch and made little impact.
