Chart notes
STATLER moved closest to the leader before a quarter, chased that one into the turn, bid three path entering the drive, drew steadily clear. PREACHER'S KID in mid pack early, asked along the two path midway on the turn, rallied for the place, no real threat to the winner. BRADFORD in the second flight along the inside, moved closer while continuing along the rail turning for home, stalled the final furlong, caught for the place. ENIGMA CODE lacked speed, angled in a bit to race in the two path early turn, dropped to the rail turning for home, improved position, no threat to top three. YEAGERS STRATEGY lacked speed inside early, steered out to be three wide by late in the turn, improved proved position while also not a serious threat. IT'S A RAINY DAY back off the pace while outside, four to five wide turn, went evenly through the lane in lacking a closing punch. COACH SAM P raced widest in the second group, came five wide for the drive, failed to muster a rally. ANGELSNBUTTERFLIES off slow and was bothered, raced well back for a half, picked off a few tiring rivals after the issue had been decided. RED RIVER broke sharp, quickly sprinted clear, caved in when headed entering the stretch. SAFETY four wide trip, lacked bid. WILLIE CAT came in just after the start to tighten up a couple of rivals, had little left for the drive. SIP SLOWLY bothered to be off slowly, trailed throughout.
