Chart notes
MRS. ASTOR tracked the pacesetter in the two path, urged along two then three wide on the far turn, moved out at the top of the lane, fought four deep into the final sixteenth and dug in to best MAHINA late. MAHINA broke in a bit but was quickly corrected, stalked along the rail, patiently handled following the leader through the far turn, tipped out at the three-sixteenths pole, launched a bid between rivals, battled into deep stretch, dueled inside MRS. ASTOR late and missed. YERWANTHERE (IRE) allowed to settle next to the fence, shifted to the two path past the quarter pole, lacked room from the three-sixteenths pole to midstretch, found an opening with a sixteenth remaining and got up for the show honors. OMAHA GIRL took control early and moved inside, controlled the pace to the far turn, saved ground still unchallenged to the top of the lane, roused and asked right handed while being confronted by outer rivals in upper stretch, resisted to midstretch and got outkicked in deep stretch. MOUFFY unhurried in the beginning was guided to the two path, remained two wide to the far turn, swung widest approaching the stretch, finished willingly from outside but failed to summon the needed late punch. HANG THE MOON was closest in pursuit in the two path through both turns, challenged in upper stretch, fought three deep into the final sixteenth and flattened a bit late.
