Chart notes
OUR MOONLIGHT chased between rivals in the three path into the turn, got crowded midway around the bend, came back on in upper stretch, took over at the sixteenth pole and kicked clear to win going away. COOEY showed the way early from inside, challenged from outside in upper stretch, resisted to midstretch, then relinquished the lead to OUR MOONLIGHT and held second. SURF SONG chased the leader outside a pair of rivals, rounded the bend four then three wide, launched a bid in upper stretch but flattened out in the last sixteenth. SCUSI chased inside a pair of rivals in the two path, remained two wide to the stretch, stayed within range into the final furlong, then weakened in the late stages. MCKECHNIE broke out, trailed well off the rail up the backstretch, navigated the turn five then four wide and failed to menace. MAAM CROSS off slow to begin, sat off the pace, went four wide into the turn, angled to the inside around the bend, tired in the lane and was eased through the final furlong.
